Councillors

Councillors are elected in each ward to represent the people in the locality. As with any borough the group which controls the running of the Council, by the way of Cabinet Government, is the group with the largest number of Councillors.

In the Harrow East constituency there are nine wards and 20 Councillors. There are 31 Conservative Councillors across Harrow including 8 from Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner constituency and a further 3 Councillors from the Harrow West constituency. The Conservatives won 31 out 55 seats on the Council in the 2022 local elections, giving them the majority to take control of Harrow Council.
