Following concerns raised by residents in Vernon Drive around anti-social behaviour and drugs dealing. We have listened to our residents' concerns and are delighted to work with local residents in Vernon Drive to remove existing parking layby by extending the footway in response to ongoing issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB) by drivers and occupants parking in the layby. The layby has been used by individuals to park, gather, and engage in disruptive activities, creating a public nuisance and safety concerns for local residents and businesses.
Belmont Subway has also had continuous (ASB) behaviour in the subway, disruptive activities and continuously creating public nuisance in the subway. We are working hard with all relevant partners to ensure we eradicate by blocking it with fence, sign posts and introduce bio diversity project with the local school to make the subway pleasant.
Vernon Lodge has now been acquired by Goldcare Homes. They offer high quality supported housing for adults with Autism, Epilepsy, Asperger's Syndrome, challenging behaviour or a mental health condition or at risk. We are delighted to work with them to ensure they provide the homecare required for our elderly residents.
We are delighted that major works have been completed in both Braithwaithe and Coldale Road.
