Cllr. Manji Kara, a retired Railway Engineer, has been an elected member of the Harrow Council since 2002, proudly representing the residents of Belmont Ward.
He moved to Harrow from Brent in 1985 with his wife and two boys. The boys, having attended local schools, acquired professional qualifications and are residents of Harrow, with their own families.
Since his election as a Councillor, Manji has served in numerous committees and panels, and on outside bodies. Currently he is a shadow cabinet member, responsible for Community and Culture. He is a trustee of AGE UK Harrow; showing his commitment for welfare and care for elderly. His love and passion for open green spaces resulted in his appointment to the Executive Management Committee of Bentley Priory Nature Reserve.
He is an active member of Gujarati community not only in Harrow but neighbouring Brent and Barnet. He is well known in other communities such as Iranian, Muslim, Iraqi and African.
He takes active interest in local as well as International Charities and supports them whenever called upon.
Manji, with his vast experience of the community and the needs of the community, would like to continue making a difference to the residents of Harrow.

Cllr Mina Parmar has proudly represented Belmont Ward since 2014. She has been a resident in Harrow for over 40 years. She raised her son Dev, who was schooled locally and is now training to be a medical consultant. Cllr Parmar is a proud supporter of the local businesses and well known amongst the many communities within Harrow.
By profession, Cllr Parmar is a HR Director and has over 20 years’ experience in both public and corporate sectors. She is passionate about employment rights, fair representation and channels this by serving on the Employees’ Consultative Forum.
Cllr Parmar was previously a trustee for Age UK Harrow. She is passionate about the care of the elderly. She remains actively involved with several charities and hopes to make a difference in this particular field.
When time allows, Cllr Parmar enjoys long country walks and playing golf. She endeavours to support the local residents, promote the small businesses and serve the communities of Harrow.

Anjana Patel has lived in Harrow for the past 18 years. She has been a Councillor on Harrow Council from 2002 to 2010. She has served as Portfolio Holder for Community and Culture Services, and Schools and Children’s Development from 2006 to 2010. She was also lead member for Equality and Diversity at London Councils, and was a Governor at a local school and Board member of two local charities. She has served as a Chief Whip of the Conservative group on Harrow Council.
Anjana is an executive member of various charity organisations, and is keen to work to enhance the experience of being a Belmont and Harrow resident, as a Councillor once more.

Cllr Lynda Seymour has represented Belmont ward since 2010. As a former Outreach Worker, she passionate about ensuring the services for Adult Care and Children’s Services are fair, efficient, and run in a caring manner.
A new mother of twins, her interests lie in securing a high standard of Early Years Services and Education for Harrow’s children.
She serves on both the Corporate Parenting and Supporting People Panel as well as variety of other Council panels, with a particular focus on young people, education and supporting residents.
